Patio Progress

Good morning all.

I was eagerly awaiting our first snowfall last Tuesday...by dusk we hadn't had anything more than a few flurries, by 5.30pm the garden was white and we hadn't even seen it snowing!
Sadly by Wednesday morning it had gone again :(

All we had left!

On Tuesday the first slab of the patio was laid and progress was being made, unfortunately on Wednesday the weather was too cold and work stopped early.

By Thursday it was all systems go again though and by knocking off time on Friday (2pm!) this is where we were at.

Looks like there will be another week or two of muck yet....there is a large circle to be cut out of part of this to put in a feature! The view from my back door isn't too great although the mound of rubble has gone.

I'm sure by this time next month things will be straightened out and it will look like a garden again...here's hoping anyway!
