Feathered Friends

Good morning all.

I'm enjoying seeing all the birds eating at the feeders which Hubby keeps topped up daily...we have four or five and they are all emptied at least once a day. The yellow hammers returned on Saturday but we still haven't seen any goldfinches yet this winter, there are plenty of tits, chaffinches, robins and spuggies along with the bigger blackbirds and pigeons. We also have a sparrow hawk nearby which makes the smaller birds rather jumpy so I have to be quick with the camera.

Here are a few shots that made the grade!

We are very lucky living in the countryside with no cats or squirrels to chase the birds away...just the natural predators to contend with.
