#Make 30 Photos

Good morning all.

#Make 30 Photos was set as a precursor to "A Year with my Camera". It was a fun way to get to know the other participants on the course and explore aspects of photography which may have felt out of your comfort zone. The prompts also made you think out of the box...there were no right or wrong interpretations. These are my 30:

1. fill the frame with colour

2. things in threes

3. black and white

4. taken at midday (Loch Duich, Invershiel)

5. abstract

6. snail's eye view

7. reflection

8. lit by a window (a play on words!)

9. older than me (Dunbar Harbour)

10. food

11. shadows

12. plain background

13. balance (Smoo Cave, Durness)

14. urban (Dunbar High Street)

15. extreme edit

16. eyecatching (Eilean Donan Castle, Dornie)

17. behind the scenes (Castle of Mey)

18. pattern (Dornie underpass)

19. wildlife (Heilan' Coos)

20. break the rule of thirds (John O Groats)

21. just two colours

22. move the camera (Glencoe)

23. self portrait

24. movement (Glencoe)

25. stripes

26. weather (Loch Carron)

27. silhouette (Wellington, New Zealand)

28. depth (Glencoe)

29. vintage (Eilean Donan Castle)

30. texture

I intend to repeat these prompts at intervals throughout the year to map my progress...or not as the case may be!

Thank you for calling by and hope to see you again soon.
